Last month we discussed why knowing what makes YOU sign up for a mailing list is important. This month, we’ll start looking at how you go about building an effective list.

Every mailing list starts with two things:

1. A way for people to sign up

2. Something interesting from you that makes them want to stay for the ride.

Today, we’ll be talking about number 1 on the list: how to practically set up a mailing list, regardless of where your online home is.
