Welcome to the conversations. I talk about lots of things. Life, books, nature, knitting, or what's happening in the garden, sometimes memoir from 47 years of nursing. Wide-ranging ruminations. I usually post at the weekend, sometimes on Wednesday too.
June's memoir and present day writing reminds me that the world keeps on turning regardless of what else is going on 'out there'.
Hints, tips and guidance to help recovering over-carers & worn out people pleasers, to shed layers of conditioning and rediscover their true selves and zest for life.
The world changes not because someone tells us to do something, but because we each make a decision to do something different. Karen has done just that!

I was introduced to Paul Kingsnorth by a friend of mine. As he says "We can all sense the craziness in the air, the feeling of our moorings being cut one by one." This is also what fascinates, intrigues and disturbs me about the times we are living through. With Paul, I have found a kindred spirit who speaks as I would like to be speak, with the voice I would like to share and who makes the complex thoughts I have swirling in my head, more concrete.
