This week, I’m in conversation with award winning literary fiction author Meghan Delahunt. Meaghan and I first chatted about The Red Book, which back in 2011. She later joined me on the Thursday Throng in 2012 with her next book, To the Island.
In this interview we talk about the nature of creativity and what it takes to pull it out of the depths. One of the things that struck me about our conversation was how like the process of creativity and the challenge it presents to the creator our current COVID-19 situation is, it is challenging and somehow feels as if something different is being birthed. This is a theme Meaghan and I return to several times throughout the interview.
Meaghan also introduced me to her latest book, The Night Side of the Country, published by UWA publishing in Australia and New Zealand.
If you’d like to find out more Meaghan’s latest book, why not join her at the virtual book launch for a reading on 18th June: https://www.readings.com.au/event/book-launch-the-night-side-of-the-country
